  • Abstract

The purpose of this embedded mixed methods case study was to find out whether ICT integrated English language teaching (L3) training program me help in cultivating TPACK among Secondary school English language teachers after undergoing for a one week face to face training on technology integration in language teaching and online interactive mode-Edmodo for inputs by co participants and researcher. In this regard, 23teachers transacted English school text based lessons of 7 th std with the goal to create ICT integrated teaching.The researcher implemented a TPACK questionnaire (Koehler and Mishra) before and after the training course. Observations of ICT integrated lessons also helped the researchers to gain a complementary understanding of the perceived development of teachers’ TPACK knowledge and performance. The results revealed that TPACK domains developed significantly. It is therefore recommended to continue the support for all such ICT training programs so that teachers can expand their personal knowledge about the evolving ICT program. Thus, if we expect teachers’ to teach using ICT, we need to teach them using ICT.
