Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership | PGDEL

The program is designed to equip the academic as well as administrative/managerial professionals in education sector to understand the important dimensions of educational Leadership and develop skills, competencies and attitudes which can empower them as educational leaders to fortify their institutions/organizations and also enable them to pave new pathways to transform the education system so as to lead the society towards development.

The program comprises of theory & practicum components, designed to be transacted in a blended mode to facilitate the working professionals. The students will be expected to attend some weekly classes in person. For practicum purposes they will be attached to the institutions convenient to them to carry out their action research projects and find their mentors. The seminar presentations will be an important component of the program wherein each student will make regular presentations followed by peer-group discussions. The student will also maintain a reflection journal to practice the path of self-directed, self-regulated and self-assessed journey as an educational leader.
