From times immemorial peace has been the most discussed topic all over the world. UNESCO has been making regular efforts to achieve and maintain peace over the globe however it still remains a distant dream. In this paper researcher makes an attempt to identify the adolescent students‟ perception of peace as they are on the verge of becoming responsible citizens of the world and instruments in bringing and sustaining peace in the world. For this in the present paper the researcher examines 70 adolescent students of the age group 15 to 16. Their perception about peace was analyzed adopting Qualitative approach, the data was collected in textual form and was analyzed on the basis of dominant theme, and the words related to the theme. The findings of the theme reflect that students perceive peace as silence. The final pages
